Our European Valuation Services business has offices in London, Frankfurt, Munich, Stockholm and Amsterdam and we provide a full suite of valuation services in the areas of financial and tax reporting, mergers and acquisitions, complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, and private equity and real estate portfolios.

Due to increasing demand for such analysis, A&M is growing this team and we are looking for an experienced Senior Associate / Manager to join us in our new London offices at Moorgate in the City.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage multiple and challenging assignments, working closely with Senior Directors and Managing Directors
• You will have the opportunity to use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills and use a variety of tools to conduct extensive data analysis and modelling.
•  You will lead and conduct research, synthesize information and be responsible for writing and developing reports
• A&M work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing you with broad industry exposure. 
• You will gain constant exposure to the Managing Directors, leveraging their substantial experience and also be actively involved in commercial, business development, and marketing.

Typical projects will include;

• Fairness Opinions
• Tax Valuations
• Accounting Valuations (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP)
• PE Portfolio Valuations
• Alternative Investment
• Complex Financial Instruments
• Intellectual property
• Disputes & Litigation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 to 6 years valuations experience gained at a Big 4 accounting firm or consulting firm or investment bank or independent valuation firm
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
• Fluent business level English. Additional European language skills including French, Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
