A&M’s global Disputes & Investigations (DI) practice is a leading provider of forensic accounting, forensic technology, economic expert witness, dispute resolution and investigation services. The firm has an established reputation for high quality and conflict-free work. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis. The DI team comprises of 400 professionals globally. The European DI team now numbers 100 professionals including 12 partners with dedicated teams in London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens and Paris. The European team has worked on some of the most significant, high profile matters in the investigative and disputes arena across many European countries and beyond.
A&M's DI team comprises of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, who bring deep expertise in conducting investigations, managing electronic disclosure exercises and interrogating complex sets of information. Our core areas of work include anti-bribery and fraud investigations, regulatory investigations, contract disputes, IP theft investigations and other litigation advisory services. Against the backdrop of our growing presence in the UK, an opportunity exists for us to strengthen the DI business at the Senior Director level in our London office. The successful appointee will play a key part in the further development of the practice, with emphasis on thought leadership as well as practice and business development.
Critical Capabilities
The preferred candidate for this appointment will be an action oriented self-starter with entrepreneurial flair. He/she will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high performing team. Critically, they will need to be client facing, bringing a strong network of contacts with a successful track record of achieving profitable sales and business development. Additionally, the successful candidate will also be experience in identifying and attracting top talent into their team and managing a cohesive and productive business unit.
In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- Proven track record in managing complex disputes and investigations
- Demonstrable track record in expert testimony, litigation support, investigation
- Strong network in UK/European legal and compliance market
- Experience in managing Regulatory inquiries and with expert testimony experience
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and an additional European language is highly desirable (in particular German and/or French).
