Office Assistant with Receptionist duties
A&M is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Office Assistant to assist with the Front of House as well as day to day office administration within our fast paced, dynamic office in London City (Moorgate). The successful candidate will embrace a can-do attitude, team spirit and more importantly is happy to get involved and roll up their sleeves. This is a full-time role with working hours of 09:00 – 18:00 with the need to be flexible from time to time.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Reception cover (approx 2 days a week)
- Taking ownership and pride in providing a professional Front of House service
- Managing a very busy switchboard and re-directing internal and external calls
- Answering all calls and ‘at the desk’ queries in a professional and timely way
- Greeting all A&M visitors, show them to their meeting room and providing refreshments
- Help set up/clear away workshops, lunches, big meetings etc.
- Ordering passes for new hires and managing the visitor passes
- Order the catering for events held in the office
- Checking and liaising with IT as necessary to ensure all meeting room technology (telephones, screens, video conference) is up and running every morning
- Work closely alongside the Office Manager to assist with office administration and EA support
- Adhoc projects
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a varied administrative role
- Previously worked in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task
- IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident communicator with people at all levels
- Someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in whatever comes their way
