Role Summary

Are you able to write clean, maintanable, performant and testable code?

Our client, an exciting start-up focused on developing software based solutions for autologous therapy using new emerging technologies, is looking for:

• a Software Developer intern
• who has built cool stuff before
• and is a strong thinker and efficient doer

This role is all about supporting the development of software to support the management of a breakthrough cancer therapy.

Key Accountabilities

Working closely with the Software Developers you will be accountable for supporting the development of the software solution.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• That they are pursuing a degree in computer science.
• Being a strong thinker and an efficient doer.
• Efficient and clear communicatons, both oral and written.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, performant and testable code.
• Able to work well in a team but also independent and self driven and well
  organised.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to learn new things every day.

Optional Requirements

The following skills and experience will be beneficial to your application:

• Experience in one or more modern front-end (Typescript / Angular 2+, ...) development frameworks
• Experience in one or more modern back-end (Java 8+ / Spring Boot 2+, NodeJS, Serverless, ...) development framework
• Experience in one or more databases (MySQL, Firebase, Elasticsearch, etc...)
  • some development tools (Maven, Docker and Git, ...)
• Experience with one or more blockchains (e.g. Ethereum / Hyperledger, ...)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab-CI, Circle-CI, Jenkins, Travis-CI, ...)
• Proven experience, history or desire on taking ownership of a concept, product or feature from inception until the end
• Experience with one or more Cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Firebase, Oracle Cloud, Amplify, ...).
