Responsibilities

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

BXT Pursuit/Sales Lead

An experienced and impactful Senior Pursuit Coach to drive the development and delivery of BXT across Consulting.

The Senior BXT Pursuit specialist will be able to competently coach opportunities end to end throughout the pursuit cycle, as required. They will lead by example, regularly providing challenge around pursuits, propositions, pipeline and campaigns using timely interventions to help create better client interactions, develop more meaningful relationships and drive the creation of more opportunities and revenue.

Responsibilities


In this role, the successful candidates will

  • Provide coaching for client interactions, conversations, presentations and negotiations – at all stages of a pursuit lifecycle
  • Play a key role in driving BXT strategy across the business, supporting BXT Leadership in the development and delivery of BXT methodology, tools and resources firm wide
  • Facilitate client and internal interaction workshops, meetings and events, to include amongst others Discovery Days; Bid Forums; Account Planning Workshops (storytelling, reframing, vision)
  • Drive solution designing sessions – inclusive of storyboarding and win themes sessions, value proposition design, workshop design and all client interaction meeting design
  • Bring the best of PwC by working with and connecting teams with relevant personnel such as Integrated Solutions; The Difference; Activation Hubs; Disruption; Design and Account Management teams.
  • Model BXT and Pursuit best practice bringing energy, impact and strategic advice
  • Work closely with Marketing and Business Development to form a seamless value chain for our clients
  • Challenging delivery approach to encourage diversity of perspective and iterative working
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing leadership to develop and drive BXT at every stage of pursuit – inclusive of facilitating training and upskilling of BXT in Sales & Marketing teams
  • Make recommendations on relevant propositions, collateral and interactions with clients
  • Enabling and coaching sector champions network to enable them to further drive BXT into the market
Requirements
  • Proven track record in a similar Pursuit/Sales coaching role
  • Evidence of excellent influencing and communication skills and the capability to challenge and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive with a positive can do approach.
  • Self-starter able to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • The ability to form networks with partners and staff at all levels.
  • Commercially and risk aware.
  • Experience of working in the consulting market would be beneficial.
