The opportunity
A&M’s European Valuation Services business has high performing teams in London, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Amsterdam. We provide a full suite of valuation services in the areas of financial and tax reporting, mergers and acquisitions, complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, and private equity and real estate portfolios.

A&M are expanding our London team and we are seeking an experienced Senior Director to contribute to development and growth of the European Valuations business.
The successful candidate will:
- Working with our Managing Directors to support the development of the Valuations team across Europe by engaging with prospective clients and developing enduring senior level client relationships
- Build the A&M brand and profile by successfully winning and delivering client assignments and managing project teams to exceed client expectations
- Contribute to thought leadership and the development of the practice by raising the profile and reputation of Valuations with Clients and internally across other teams
- Be an influential leader on Valuation topics and contribute to practice building activities such as recruiting and training junior team members
Typical projects will include;
- Financial Reporting Valuations (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, French GAAP)
- Tax Valuations
- Fairness Opinions and Commercial Valuations
- PE Portfolio Valuations
- Alternative Investment Valuations
- Complex Financial Instruments
- Intellectual Property Valuations
- Valuations for Disputes & Litigation
- Valuations in the context of Restructuring
Qualifications:
- 10 to 15 years valuations experience gained at a Big 4 accounting firm or consulting firm or investment bank or independent valuation firm
- Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a strong focus on Finance and/or Mathematics
- Related professional qualifications, e.g. CFA, ASA, CBV, etc.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Additional European languages are highly valued
- Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
