The Finance Consulting within FS team advises leading FS providers on a wide variety of Finance Transformation programmes including performance management, shared services, outsourcing, process redesign and systems transformation. In particular, our clients are looking for ways to meet the current regulatory and reporting challenges. Our team includes both broad FS practitioners and specialists in Insurance, Banking or Asset management and candidates from all these areas are required.
In support of our growth, we are currently recruiting Senior Managers with strong systems architecture experience within Financial Services.
This role will be mainly client-based, developing teams and leading/ supporting transformational work and change engagements as well as some business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for individuals who can develop finance systems architecture across the whole landscape or large sections of it, to help clients solve challenging multi-dimensional transformations across their systems. For example candidates who can cover of one or ideally more than one of the following areas of architecture

ERP / general ledger platforms

Sub ledgers

Data warehousing

Actuarial models
-
Integration / ETL
-
Consolidation systems

Planning and budgeting systems

Earnings engines for insurance

Knowledge and experience of working with primary software Oracle or SAP
Joining our team as a Senior Manager, we would expect you to have considerable experience of leading large change projects, preferably within a major blue chip or consulting environment.
You will have been supporting decision making at a senior level (CFO level) and be able to demonstrate a track record of implementation success, achieving savings and overcoming various challenges. Significant FS sector experience is essential.
Essential skills

Preference will be given to candidates with well demonstrated external consulting experience

Deep experience and track record of developing finance systems architectures within Financial Services, leveraging industry standards (such as TOGAF)

Successful track record of implementing ERP and EPM systems in FS, especially Oracle and/or SAP
-
Programme and change management in a Finance environment

Experience of leading and developing teams

Demonstrated ability to advise senior management on alternative solutions and risks with experience of presenting and influencing at a senior level;

7+ years of relevant experience
Desirable skills

Exposure to Robotics process automation and other disruptive technologies

A formal accounting qualification or equivalent understanding of accounting principles

Previous experience in a management or a senior role gained from within a finance department

Track record of leading multi-disciplinary change teams
