
Business Development Intern – Corporate Transformation Services
We are currently looking for a Business Development Intern (1 year internship) within our Corporate Transformation Services team here at Alvarez & Marsal Europe, based in London.
Reporting into the Business Development Senior Analyst in the team, the main objective of the role is to support the Corporate Transformation Services practice in their go to market preparedness for each focus industry sector. This will include, and not be limited to, the following:
Support the preparation of various go to market materials, including:
- Creation and upkeep of Industry packs to ensure they are consistent, on brand and reflect current market trends
- Conduct research and financial analysis of potential targets for inclusion in ‘Point of View’ documents
- Develop content and gather data for internal and external marketing initiatives (e.g. newsletters, thought leadership articles)
Support the central knowledge management function for Corporate Transformation Services, including:
- Collation, classification and storage of industry packs and ‘Point of View’ documents
- Maintain and update the industry case study database
- Manage and keep up to date industry credentials and bios
The Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven internship or research experience in a corporate environment
- A background in investment banking, finance and/or accounting is desirable
- Strong communication and analytical capabilities
- Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, gravitas, and be able to form strong working relationships with senior members of the team and those of other practices
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of work and work to tight deadlines
- Experience with a CRM system, ideally Salesforce, desirable
- A positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
- Fluency in other European languages desirable but not essential
- University degree
