Quite a challenge; working as an IT Business Consultant

As an IT Business Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to implement, support and continuously improve our new M3 ERP system throughout our global business. Rigorous change control processes will be your standard; you will match the needs and requirements of process owners to IT strategies and system functionality by investigating and analysing them. Using your interpersonal skills, you will train and support our ever increasing user base. Your goal? Becoming an architecture and functionality expert in M3 ERP in order to provide high-standard support to our business.

Some of your main responsibilities include:

• Providing second line support and configuration for our M3 service application.
• Maintaining and developing standards and operating procedures in line with our guidelines.
• Working with the business and its personnel to propose, construct and verify business process
• improvement in our M3 application.
• Gaining in-depth understanding of our business environment and processes, and continuously
• identifying new opportunities for further development.
• Reporting and presenting development and improvement projects to different management
• levels, in a timely manner.
• Generating project documentation in accordance with Prince2 standards.

You will be based in Warwick, but also look forward to travel within the UK and across Europe.

Your background includes:

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT (preferably as a business analysist or business
• consultant) and 5 years’ experience with ERP systems.
• At least one full lifecycle of ERP implementation, ideally M3 or Movex.
• Valid permits which legally entitle you to work in the EU.
