
Receptionist
To further professionalise our Front of House experience for our visiting clients and resident employees, we are looking to hire an experienced and professional senior receptionist – someone who is high-energy and polished, has a passion for client services and is happy to take initiative and think on their feet.
A&M’s Receptionist role requires flexibility, energy, the ability to multi-task, prioritise and be aware at all times that A&M’s reception is the heart of the office. A professional appearance is required at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership and pride in providing a professional Front of House service
- Managing a very busy switchboard and re-directing internal and external calls
- Answering all calls and ‘at the desk’ queries in a professional and timely way
- Greeting all A&M visitors, show them to their room and providing refreshments
- Being the first point of contact for the main building reception, representing A&M within the building
- Managing all client meeting rooms ensuring that they are always maintained to a high standard
Furthermore, the receptionist will primarily be responsible for the following:
- Office Coordination: liaising with the building maintenance team regarding controlling the office temperature, and escalate any issues to the Office Manager, Booking couriers and organising all incoming and outgoing post
- Ordering passes for new hires and managing the visitor passes
- Order the catering for events held in the office
- Checking and liaising with IT as necessary to remedy faults the technology in each meeting room ensuring that the telephones and TV screens are in full working order (each morning)

- Superior communications skills, able to present a friendly and open style
- Demonstrable energy and the drive to be in control at all times
- An obvious passion for client service
- A flexible approach and the ability to switch between tasks and services as required
- Enthusiasm and sensitivity to others, you will enjoy being part of a close working team
Experience required
- Receptionist/front of house/in person customer services experience within professional services or financial industry
- Experience in multi-tasking in a busy customer/client facing environment
- Experience in working with Microsoft office to intermediate level
