Position Summary:

The position holder will be responsible for supporting the BCG Platinion Recruiting. The role offers an opportunity to gain a wide variety of recruiting exposure and to build a career in a dynamic and highly functioning Recruiting function. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall direct assistance to Platinion Recruiters; providing on-going flexible support; supporting across the hiring channel in accordance with recruiting cycles and activities
  • Co-ordinating and collaborating with Recruiters to assist with end to end delivery; providing pro-active support enabling the team to deliver a best-in-class service to both candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Taking full ownership, with the support of the Recruiters, for scheduling interviews internally and with external agents/directly with candidates
  • Taking responsibility to maintain and update several key excel tracking files with the ability to quickly access and extract data from the files as needed
  • Updating of candidate records in Recruiting IT databases
  • Daily ownership of email queries in the Recruiting mailbox
  • Pro-actively supporting all administration: creating materials for candidates and interviewers, bio cards, taking notes in de-briefs, tracking interview feedback and timely input into the Recruiting database, management of candidate expenses and offer pack preparation
  • Assist in the preparation and attendance of Platinion recruiting events
  • Scope to build direct relationships with agents and candidates and build a recruiting network
  • Assist Recruiting Manager and Recruiters in any ad hoc requests, including collation of information for analysis or meeting preparation
  • Ad hoc project work 

Position Requirements:

  • Degree level educated to a 2:1 level, or equivalent
  • Experience in diary management and scheduling in a fast paced recruiting environment
  • Experience within a service-orientated or professional services environment preferred
  • Experience using LinkedIn as a sourcing tool highly advantageous
  • Attention to detail to ensure recruiting records are accurately maintained
  • Being able to communicate effectively with the team and the recruitment stakeholders, as well as building rapport with the candidates and external agencies
  • Ability to plan and manage workload and to navigate a broad range of matters in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and committed
  • Pro-active, responsible and accountable for work
  • Willingness to go the extra mile and provide a first class service to the team and business
  • IT skills and a familiarity with database programs, Excel and PowerPoint, along with being a fast-learner
  • In this position you must be extremely effective in dealing with large amounts of information, work efficiently under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Charisma, friendliness, and a pleasant, polite manner
