Position: IT Consultant, London
Responsibilities: You will be part of BCG Platinion and collaborate with our colleagues from BCG Strategy Consulting, Digital Ventures and Gamma to work on UK and international client projects. You will assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies and architecture solutions, establish and manage delivery teams and roll up your sleeves to build proof of concepts and MVPs, applying your technical know-how, your understanding of business contexts, and your analytical and conceptual skills.
Typical tasks includes:
- IT strategy, IT due diligence and IT governance
- Functional and technical analysis and evaluation of IT architectures
- Development of functional concepts
- IT product evaluation and selection
- Restructuring of IT organisation and core IT processes
- IT project planning, project management and quality assurance
Qualifications, Desired Skills and Experience:
- A university degree with above-average academic performance in information technology, business administration, or a related field
- Experience in the execution and management of (sub)projects using Waterfall and Agile approaches
- Experience in Digital and Agile Transformations at scale
- Experience in IT organization and process development
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, distinct client and results orientation, mental agility
- A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication skills, highly professional and rigorous, results-oriented, driven and hard-working
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel
- Loyal and reliable, possessing the highest ethical standard
- Flexible and creative: ability to propose innovative ideas, build empathy within the firm and win the trust of the clients
- Good interpersonal skills but also judgment independency and autonomy
