Position: Lead Agile Coach
Location: London

Roles & Responsibilities: You will be part of BCG Platinion and work jointly with BCG and client teams on UK and international projects. You will actively support or directly lead BCG Platinion teams to advise clients on their software business and technology strategy, Agile transformation of software delivery and DevOps transformation. Coming from a technical background you will be able to provide practical guidance on how to effect change and build capabilities across the IT and operations functions on par with high-performing Cloud companies. You will also contribute to client development efforts, including preparation of proposal documents and attending pitch presentations. You will take a leadership role to continue developing BCG Platinion’s overall Agile Coaching offering, methodologies, assets & accelerators and people capabilities across the Western Europe region.

Qualifications, Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in such as XP, Scrum, SAFe, Lean, and Kanban
  • Proven track record of orchestrating transition and coaching teams for large and complex Agile programs ideally across a breadth of industries – notably software companies, telecom, consumer, banking, healthcare or manufacturing
  • Proven people leadership experience and stakeholder engagement & management
  • Proven experience or formal qualifications in mentoring and coaching a plus
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture, tooling and capabilities needed to deliver software automation, software development, service orchestration and DevOps in a large enterprise context
  • Experience with major Cloud and on premise based applications stacks, frameworks and tools along the software delivery lifecycle (for example, Jira, GitHub/lab, Bitbucket, mocha, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Cloudfoundry, Elastic Beanstalk) to enable continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment and DevOps
  • Track record of Agile consulting and advisory, preferable background as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner or Team Lead with agile software development teams
  • A university degree with above-average academic performance in a STEM related field 
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, distinct client and results orientation, mental agility
  • A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication skills, highly professional and rigorous, results-oriented, driven and hard-working
