Establishing a presence in Europe over ten years ago, the European business now has some 600 staff in a broad range of professional services including: Transactions Advisory, Valuations, Tax, Corporate Transformation and Performance Improvement. 

Our Transaction Advisory Group has achieved significant success winning work with Corporates, Private Equity firms and Financial Institutions across Europe.

We are recruiting for a Director for our specialist Financial Services Transactions Group.  The successful candidate for this position will have gained extensive Financial Due Diligence experience at a Big 4 practice and will have lead multi-disciplinary teams on financial due diligence projects in the UK and across Europe.

As part of a select and highly skilled team, Directors have the opportunity to lead and manage multiple and challenging Transaction Advisory Services engagements, working closely with our eight European Managing Directors.

Duties will include;

  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams on financial due diligence projects in the UK and across Europe
  • Analysing and validating financial and strategic assumptions including revenue, maintainable earnings, future cash flows and deal structuring
  • Business development activities including significant client exposure at meetings, pitches and client events 
  • Relationship building with both client peers and their A&M peer group,  planning and participating in relationship building activities

A&M work with a variety of Financial Institutions , mid-tier and top-tier PE houses and corporate clients.

Essential experience:

Qualified Big 4 trained ACA with first time passes and an exceptional academic record

Extensive experience in Transaction Advisory is essential 

Fluent business level English is essential and additional European language skills including Dutch, German, French, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
