The nature of our work varies greatly, broadly based on defining and delivering commercial and business strategy through the application of advanced analytics, including predictive modelling and optimisation. This would include pricing, buying, merchandising and channel optimisation strategies, customer segmentation/satisfaction/profiling, growth and risk strategy, loyalty programmes, and more general demand analytics (spending drivers analysis, predictive and propensity modelling).

Consultant/Senior Consultant will have responsibility for:

  • Developing strategic business solutions: assist in developing and customising analytically-driven solutions
  • Team Management: Lead the team to deliver actionable and strategic insight to inform business decisions driven by quantitative analysis
  • Project Management: Planning and delivery of analytics workstreams a part of a larger project, ensuring the workstreams achieves the agreed outcomes to a defined deadline and with budget. This includes working with all grades of client management to gain their trust and cooperation, and ensure client happiness
  • Business Development: Supporting the sales process and develop analytical propositions
  • Delivery: Lead and deliver workstreams across a range of projects and programmes, building statistical, predictive models and working with data analysis, data visualisation and programming tools, ensuring that strategies are delivered using change management best practices
  • Supporting the management and development of our practice
  • Assisting in team recruitment


To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Experience of conducting complex data analysis/pricing
  • Experience in a broader managerial role
  • Strong consulting and technical skills gained either in a consulting or industry environment
  • Track record of strong, active career development with evidence of progression
  • Full travel mobility

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative subject, or business/economics with a focus in quantitative methods and/or equivalent working experience in the data analytics space
  • Good knowledge of statistical software such as SAS, SQL, SPSS or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including some knowledge of VBA
