Role description
The Monitor Deloitte Automotive practice is looking for individuals with experience in strategy consulting and/or a strong back ground in Automotive. The practice works from strategy through to implementation including specific expertise on sales and marketing, business development (and development of online offer) pricing and analytics.

The nature of our work

The nature of our work varies, but includes:
- Forecasting anticipated future market trends and the competitive environments in which our clients operate (e.g. Industry 4.0, autonomous vehicles, new regulations) and advising them on how to adapt their strategies to respond,
- Developing organic growth strategies based on an in-depth understanding of customer needs (‘customer-led growth’);
- Helping clients understand all stages of the buying process and identifying strategies to change customer behaviours at all stages of the process
- Mapping and understanding the key profit drivers along the value chain (from OEM to dealer to customer) and helping clients utilise these drivers to optimise profitability
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies for both new sales and aftermarket to drive both volume and profit
- Helping our clients understand how defining how to answer the opportunities and challenges brought about by new digital technologies;
- Designing the strategic operating model, establishing required capabilities and optimising incentive structures across markets and within client organisations to deliver strategic objectives.

As part of Monitor Deloitte's Automotive strategy consulting team, you will work closely with outstanding, experienced individuals, both inside Deloitte and at our clients.

To qualify for the role you must have:
- Experience in a top tier consulting or in-house strategy role
- Demonstrable experience in the Automotive industry (OEM, Dealer), or in a professional services firm serving the automotive sector
- Experience in one or more of our core propositions: Strategy, analytics, pricing
- Flexibility to travel.
