In Technology FS Applications, we adopt a business led approach to achieving technology enabled transformation. Our Banking clients engage us to solve their most complex problems, helping them to shape and deliver a strategy in response to regulatory driven change and the new competitive landscape.

As part of this team, you'll work alongside a team of Banking and Securities specialists and will be able to quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge and consultancy skills to become an expert in your field. You will be expected to lead small teams and develop the talent of our community.

Responsibilities

You will:

· Provide business perspective and support in the delivery of successful technology implementation and process improvement projects within Retail and Wholesale Banking

  • Support clients throughout the wholeproject lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, End to End testing, process definition and change, and go live
  • Work within teams to implementagreed solutions to quality and timescales
  • Build effective and collaborative alliances withIT, operations, risk, treasury, finance and front/back office stakeholders to enable timely and quality deliverables
  • Demonstrate your ability to build effective networks, articulate the relevance of new market propositions to FS clients, and support the growth of new market offerings

Support pre-sales, bid development and client sales presentations

Requirements

  • Proven working experience within Retail or Wholesale Banking
  • Solid experience of FS process and technology change in areas such as:
    • Retail Banking processes, reporting and systems knowledge aroundone or more product areas such as savings, current accounts, mortgages, cards, loans and one or more functional areas such as credit risk, finance, payments, etc
    • Wholesale banking processes, reporting and systems to support cash management, commercial loans, trade finance, etc
  • Knowledge of at least one FS system application. Including Calypso, Misys, Murex, Temenos, Marketwire, Lombard Risk, Polaris, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of FS controls and reports, such as regulatory, statutoryand management
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of complex transactions and related configuration options
  • Been part of at least two project lifecycles, from scoping and planning through to testing and post go live/support
  • Taken part in at least one detailed business process analysis project ('As Is' definition) and provided recommendations for the future processes (‘To Be’ processes)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the FS industry, its key players, products and changing market environment
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
