Role Description
The Deloitte Supply Chain Practice is a market leading team providing pragmatic solutions to clients. We are recruiting for a Senior Consultant or Manager to work within this practice. You will be exposed to the breadth of supply chain activities whilst also deepening your knowledge in the areas of your choice.
You'll receive structured training to help develop your technical and consulting skills. You'll broaden your skill set and develop quickly by gaining access to the highest levels of client liaison. You'll work on complex, high-profile projects and will play a key role in influencing account development and supporting sales activities in our target multinational accounts.
Responsibilities
A Manager will have responsibility for:
- Leading projects, while working with clients to deliver project success
- Managing multiple teams of people across a range of locations
- Delivering projects on time and within budget and in line with client expectations
- Delivering multiple pieces of work in parallel, both client facing and internal
- Developing the Deloitte business, brand and reputation within the Retail sector
- Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Senior Manager level roles will include leveraging and development of industry and client relationships to generate revenue and deliver service excellence
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Deep experience across one or more of the following; store, online and/or multi-channel fulfilment, gained with a ‘Big 4’ consultancy, tier 2 consultancy specialising in Order management / Logistics operations or business transformation
- Order management experience gained working in Retail or another service related sector
- Experience selling to clients and bringing established vendor package knowledge (such as Stirling Commerce, Manhattan Associates, Hybris)
- Experience in leading the development of aspects of a retailer’s digital and multi-channel transformation, including managing orders across store, online, marketplace, catalogue, C&C, D2C, drop ship vendor and centres. Also understands the interface of order management with customer service and financial settlement solutions
- Prior experience in a consulting environment; strong in project management, budgeting, stakeholder management and issue resolution
- The ability to lead multiple teams of people across a range of projects
- Flexibility in work location
