Responsibilities
As a Manager in People and Workforce Analytics, you will help to design and implement analytics driven solutions to our clients’ most pressing business and talent priorities. For example:
- Develop strong long-term client relationships and become recognised as a trusted workforce analytics advisor
- Support the delivery of critical analytic assets such as measurement frameworks, data models, analytic applications and data visualisation tools
- Manage the implementation of analytics solutions on a variety of platforms ranging from KPI dashboards to the application of predictive analytic capabilities
- Manage quality, accuracy and usability of analytical tools / technology during design phases
- Manage the analysis of data integrity, accuracy and usability for business intelligence applications
- Develop work plans for components of engagements and workstreams and manage junior teams to deliver against client objectives and produce quality deliverables against tight deadlines
- Determine client needs / recommendations utilising a combination of experience, industry knowledge, tools, and technology and contribute to client issues using insight and experience
- Contribute to the growth of the practice, by leading new business proposals and presentations and developing new business
- Lead proposition development initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative analytic applications
- Provide effective commercial management support on client projects
- Have a broad perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Requirements
We are happy to accept applications from candidates from a variety of backgrounds, but you should have the following:
- Experience of delivering workstreams or projects, and supporting analytics in a consulting or in-house environment
- Experience of managing client relationships and small teams
- Proven expertise of working with large data sets comprising of both structured and unstructured data
- Strong understanding of data management principles, and analytic technology architecture design and service processing
- Experience in data modelling, visualisation or statistical tools such as Microsoft Business Intelligence, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Warehouse, Oracle OBIEE, MicroStrategy, Roambi, Tableau, QlikView, Tibco Spotfire, SAS (including visual analytics), or IBM SPSS
- Prior experience of using an Artificial Intelligence programme / more advanced statistical analysis
- Extensive experience of working with a range of visualisation tools
- Understanding of business development strategy, business process mapping and management and business operations
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems and the proven capability to tell the story behind the data to a variety of audiences
- Advanced degree in business / economics / maths with a focus in quantitative methods and/or equivalent working experience in the data analytics space
- Prior experience in Talent, HR, Organisation Design or Change Management.
- Entrepreneurial mind set
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Previous experience of gamification and/or Artificial Intelligence would also be advantageous
