As Organisation Transformation and Talent practice, we work with senior leadership teams to deliver value through people, by redesigning organisations, building capability, developing effective leadership teams and embedding behavioural change. We support our clients through the entire cycle of organisational transformation, starting with initial diagnosis right through to successful implementation.

As a Learning Solutions Manager you will support the planning, scoping and delivery of major Learning Solutions projects working in multi-disciplinary teams.

UK Learning Solutions (part of a CoE comprising Talent, Leadership & Learning) is looking for qualified Managers with experience in the area of Learning Solutions, which includes enterprise learning strategy, operations, and governance; learning systems, technologies, and infrastructure; formal learning design and development; and informal, on-the-job learning. The 3 areas in which we operate are:

  • The Learning Strategy & Operations area of Learning Solutions focuses on rationalising and optimising the learning function within an organisation.
  • The Learning Design & Development area of within Learning Solutions focuses on developing training to address capabilities gaps ? either face to face or using blended solutions.
  • The Learning Technologies area of within Learning Solutions focuses on LMS, mobile, and other technologies that support learning.


As a Manager you will have responsibility for:

  • Helping clients solve complex issues by performing analysis, providing recommendations and utilising a combination of experience, industry knowledge, tools, and technology
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the business by identifying and delivering sales opportunities
  • Offer a strong and compelling point of view around Learning/Talent related matters and issues, such that it builds the credibility of the UKLS business
  • Leading the delivery of client projects or work streams by developing work plans, managing team members and engagement financials, producing (or overseeing production of) high quality deliverables
  • Working with a range of stakeholders, and being seen as a subject matter expert within client organisations and by colleagues
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
  • Supporting business development by contributing to new business proposals and taking role in industry and account teams
  • Contributing to internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture and sharing
  • Playing an active role in the career development of more junior OT&T colleagues
  • Developing and maintain deep industry knowledge

Learning Solutions specific responsibilities

  • Working with senior leadership teams to translate strategic goals into learning transformation strategy and roadmap development
  • Assessing, evaluation, selection, and implementation of leading-edge learning technology solutions
  • Helping organisations to navigate organisational change, through understanding new skills & knowledge requirements and planning the implementation of learning programmes
  • Supporting the alignment of learning with talent strategies including competency modelling, staffing, and recruiting
  • Contributing to the development of Learning Solutions propositions to support our clients, including learning tools, methodologies, and eminence
  • Identifying, quantifying and supporting delivery of the financial and non-financial benefits of Learning Solutions
  • To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture


To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Experienced in working on Learning Solutions projects (in line with the responsibilities detailed above)in a consulting organisation, or in an internal consultant role
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, and fast-paced project environments
  • Significant experience and knowledge of working in one of the industry sectors - Financial Services, Public Sector and Private Sector
  • Ability to develop excellent client relationships
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Experience of building and managing effective client relationships
  • Experience of managing team members
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to look at the bigger picture as well as have a keen eye for detail
