Role description

We are executing this vision in our Business Architecture and Cloud Applications team and becoming our client’s firm of choice by helping them deliver the most complex Business Transformation engagements, enabled by traditional ERP solutions and Cloud Applications.

As an architect within our team, you will have a track record of consulting effectively with senior level clients or stakeholders, being able to design, develop and maintain business-led architectures that directly address client’s business problems. You will demonstrate the ability to apply a depth of industry and technology experience to create transformative, sustainable change.

Responsibilities

  • Working with our clients to design application solutions that address business problems and may be communicated to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Providing solution architectural leadership on ERP and cloud-based applications projects
  • Designing and reviewing application architectures and ensuring that the resultant solutions meet the business objectives
  • Translating architectural products into actionable plans, e.g. the definition of specification and evaluation criteria for application product selection
  • Ensuring application architecture deliverables are consistent with solution design principles, standards and methodologies
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Requirements

To qualify you should possess and demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Leadership of the design aspects of implementation projects, either in the role of Solution Architect or Design Authority
  • A depth of expertise on one or more ERP packages. Experience in the design of cloud-enabled architectures would be an advantage
  • The design of solutions to integrate legacy applications into the target ERP or cloud applications
  • Experience in the development of products that support decision making, including business cases or feasibility studies
  • An in-depth awareness of the key drivers and issues faced in your specialist industry or functional area and a track record of driving improvement in each
  • Full travel mobility

Consulting Services pathway ? pathway for people whose career is built around the delivery of managed services to clients (either internal or external)
