Role description
Deloitte's Finance practice has received accolades from Gartner and Kennedy as the market leader. As part of our strategy, we envisage becoming the CFO's firm of choice, leading the most complex Finance Transformation engagements. We have a proven depth of ERP and finance applications advisory and implementation capability, having won several implementation partner of the year awards with the major ERP vendors such as SAP and Oracle, and are now looking to recruit talented individuals into our teams to support our growing practice.
We are looking for talented Consultants with experience in finance application design and implementations, and with financial services industry knowledge.
Working with a range of clients will provide you with the opportunity to develop key relationships with industry leaders, and grow your leadership skills.
You will be expected to work closely alongside Managers and Senior Managers, which will provide you with two unique opportunities. The first is to make a difference by really influencing the strategic development of our Financial Services Technology team. The second is to learn from the best in our business.
You will play a key role in helping to deliver projects within time and budget and inline with client expectations. As a Consultant, you’ll be a core element of our workstreams, with responsibility for delivery to critical elements of our Finance Transformation projects.
Responsibilities
You will have responsibility for:
- Identifying client business drivers and developing strategy and vision for their system enabled Finance Transformation journey
- Developing an approach based on Deloitte methodology and managing the creation of the required client proposal documents
- Working with client/Deloitte team to deliver complex financial analysis to support business case development and benefits realisation
- Implementation of Finance Applications and related products, overseeing workstreams, coordinating client and Deloitte resources, driving key deliverables, and ensuring benefits realisation
- Support of client decision-making, taking account of industry context
Requirements
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Experience of working in either Consulting or the Financial Services industry,
- Particular experience of working within the Finance function
- Ability to develop client relationships
- Self-motivated and ambitious with ability to motivate others
- Ability to lead small teams of people
- 100% Mobility within the UK, with some international travel
- Experience of working with senior finance professionals
Desirable
- Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA an advantage
