Responsibilities
As a Director in People and Workforce Analytics, you will play a key role in driving the future success of the practice. You will have responsibility for developing market-leading propositions and leading large analytic programmes sales. Day to day you will:
- Lead client pre-sales and bid activities
- Manage client relationships and key stakeholders
- Plan, scope and shape major projects and programmes within the Workforce Analytics practice
- Formulate methodologies and best practices in analytics driven solutions
- Demonstrate broad strategic and practical knowledge of analytics solutions and industry knowledge
- Provide oversight and guidance to clients, through strong working relationships. Operate and be viewed as a trusted adviser at senior levels in client organisations
- Lead and project manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver against specific client objectives
- Demonstrate sound understanding of client issues and apply experience and rationale to manage client decision-making
- Quality control, review, and approve all client outputs and deliverables
- Ensure client business cases are sound and evoke client sponsor understanding about the strategic role of Deloitte in supporting business direction
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and engagement teams on analytics related issues / decisions
- Actively contribute to the growth of the UK business by identifying and delivering sales opportunities
- Create and lead new proposition development initiatives
- Build external eminence through marketing and networking activity
- Demonstrate strong commercial leadership and management of risk
- Have a broad perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Requirements
We are happy to accept applications from candidates from a variety of backgrounds, but you should have the following:
- A proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects including design and implementation of analytics solutions
- Extensive experience in leading client relationships and client-facing advisory projects
- Experience of managing large teams
- The proven ability to generate significant sales from clients and develop business through leading bids, proposals and negotiations
- Proven expertise of working with large data sets comprising of both structured and unstructured data
- Strong understanding of data management principles, and analytic technology architecture design and service processing
- Experience in data modelling, visualisation or statistical tools such as Microsoft Business Intelligence, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Warehouse, Oracle OBIEE, MicroStrategy, Roambi, Tableau, QlikView, Tibco Spotfire, SAS (including visual analytics), or IBM SPSS
- Prior experience of using an Artificial Intelligence programme / more advanced statistical analysis
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems and the proven capability to tell the story behind the data to a variety of audiences
- Advanced degree in business / economics / maths with a focus in quantitative methods and/or equivalent working experience in the data analytics space
- Prior experience in Talent, HR, Organisation Design or Change Management.

- Excellent communications skills
- Previous experience of gamification and/or Artificial Intelligence would also be advantageous
