Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services helps our clients to be Secure, Vigilant and Resilient in the face of an ever increasing array of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Our Cyber Risk practice helps organizations with the management of information and technology risks by delivering end-to-end solutions, using proven methodologies and tools in a consistent manner. Our services help organizations address timely and pervasive issues such as identity theft, data security breaches, data leakage, cyber security, and system outages across organizations of various sizes and industries, with the goal of enabling ongoing, secure, and reliable operations across the enterprise.


We are looking for experienced security professionals for our Engineering team. One of our primary services includes the design, implementation and management of Security Information Event Management (SIEM) solutions to help our clients understand and identify when significant security events may have occurred or might occur. This professional should have strong experience in performing developing and implementing SIEM solutions for clients and/or have strong experience in assessing and implementing SIEM and other operational tools and processes for a Security Operations Centre (SOC). This position supports and leads the delivery of consulting engagements. A broad knowledge of security technologies, processes and strategies is required. Knowledge of security incident management and security operations is also required. Experience with consulting processes such as assessments, gap analyses and recommendation writing is required.


  • Work in a collaborative team analysing client issues and interviewing key personnel
  • Assist with the development of recommendations and presentations for client engagements as well as participate in the elaboration of project strategies and work processes
  • Participate in client presentations
  • Identify issues and define symptoms
  • Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
  • Possess 2 to 6 years of experience in IT, either in security, telecommunications or infrastructure;
  • Hold a Bachelor's or a Master degree in IT, or equivalent experience;
  • Interest in technology, business processes and information security;
  • Professional experience in a SOC context (in an operational or implementation role);
  • Knowledge of risk management;
  • Possesses integration management skills;
  • Has a basic understanding of security architecture;
  • Excellent communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of SIEM solutions like HP ArcSight, IBM QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm, RSA enVision, etc.
  • Able to size, design, configure, implement and assess at least two of the above platforms
  • Knowledge of network basics (working, TCP/IP, etc.), network infrastructure components, and tools;
  • Knowledge of security solutions like antiviruses, antispam, IDS/IPS, DLP, proxies, vulnerability management, etc.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows), of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.) or telecommunications (router, hub, firewall, etc.);
  • Possesses or has the intention to complete the training leading to the acquisition of the CISSP designation;
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Show large amount of autonomy;
  • Possess a great sense of client service and exceed clients' expectations while remaining committed to the firm's objectives and vision;
  • Systematically analyse and identify problems in order to determine the causes and propose solutions;
