The Human Capital practice works with colleagues across Audit, Tax, Consulting and Financial Advisory to provide innovative and integrated people-focused solutions to clients from a diverse range of industries.

Our practice has three distinct go-to-market capability teams:


• HR Transformation
• Organisation Transformation & Talent
• Programme Leadership

As part of one of these teams, you will have the opportunity to work with one or many elite clients in:


• Consumer Business
• Technology, Media and Telecoms
• Energy and Resources
• Healthcare and Life Sciences
• Public Sector
• Financial Service industry

Programme Leadership is currently one of the largest capabilities in the marketplace and Deloitte is renowned for their critical involvement in our clients’ largest and most complex change programmes. Deloitte were the first of the "Big 4" to establish a dedicated Programme Leadership practice, therefore as part of this team, you'll be working and learning from some of the top practitioners in the field enabling you to develop your skills quickly and build credibility in the industry from an early stage.

The Private Sector team are currently seeking experienced project and programme managers from the following industries:

• Consumer Business
• Technology, Media and Telecommunications
• Manufacturing
• Energy and Resources
• Infrastructure and Capital Programmes

Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in conceiving strategies for our clients, planning the implementation of the strategy, and then, bottom line, delivering it. If you can apply yourself with creativity and intellectual rigor, have exceptional hands-on problem solving skills and can adapt rapidly to changing circumstances, you will find there are countless opportunities to progress.

Requirements


To qualify for the role you must have:


• Previous experience of managing and delivering projects, either within industry, or for a consulting firm with experience of working with Private Sector clients
• Knowledge of the Private sector and current market conditions
• Experience of assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative
• Development of project plans across work streams and management of critical paths
• Understanding and experience of project management methodology (example PRINCE 2)
• Experience of having effectively managed dependencies in a project
• Experience of mentoring and managing others in a project team
• Progress reporting and risk management
• Preparation of programme financial reports as part of a PMO
• Experience of managing client relationships, including previous consulting experience;
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills

Consulting Services pathway ? pathway for people whose career is built around the delivery of managed services to clients (either internal or external)
