THE ROLE:                                                                                                                  

The Marketing Manager will plan, develop and deliver all marketing and communications activity for the practice primarily in Europe but also with some responsibility for developing and supporting global initiatives and channels.

Primary Duties:

  • Working closely with VPs, develop and manage the marketing strategy and planning for Compass Lexecon across EMEA.

  • Manage new and existing marketing activities for the practice, including events, seminars, sponsorships, hospitality, collateral development, thought leadership and external and internal communications

  • Develop and evolve the Compass Lexecon brand identity and brand guidelines and apply to regional and global materials and online channels

  • Work with practice leadership and other stakeholders to develop and update content for the Compass Lexecon website and for relevant sections of the FTI website

  • Work with the FTI EMEA marketing team, to put processes in place to support the practice in developing up to date CRM contact lists to promote better account penetration and marketing management

  • Participate in marketing projects driven through the wider FTI EMEA marketing team

  • Manage budgets and responsibility for monitoring and reporting/ROI

  • Provide graduate recruitment marketing direction and support for the practice at a regional level

  • Attend and fulfil onsite management for marketing events (including some out of hours work and travel) with support from other administrative staff


    Basic Qualifications:

  • Be educated to degree level (or equivalent)

  • Have a postgraduate marketing qualification (preferred)

  • Intellectual capacity and curiosity required to understand how economics and finance can be used to solve issues within a commercial and legal context.


    Preferred Skills:

  • Proven track record within the professional services sector, ideally consulting or law

  • Non-essential, but experience within economic or financial consulting would be advantageous

  • Possess excellent marketing planning and delivery capabilities

  • An understanding of multi-channel marketing and experience of delivering compelling content tailored for the channel and audience

  • Be able to work effectively and confidently with multiple senior stakeholders within a complex structure

  • Be an excellent influencer and communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Be able to work independently and to develop ideas and projects without supervision, as well as being effective as part of a team

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, competing demands and stakeholders

  • Have experience of managing a marketing budget

  • Have experience of using CRM software and online mailing systems
