FTI Consulting has five main practice areas focused on corporate finance, strategic communications, economic and financial consulting, forensic and litigation consulting and technology. This role is responsible for marketing planning and delivery in the EMEA region for the forensic and litigation consulting practice along with broader EMEA corporate marketing and internal communications responsibilities.

The role will require frequent dialogue with Senior Managing Directors (SMDs) in the practice to understand marketing needs and to design and deliver activities accordingly. You will be a marketing adviser to the practice and will drive through ideas to elevate marketing for the practice and firm.



  • Working closely with SMDs, develop and manage the marketing strategy and planning for Forensic and Litigation Consulting across the UK and EMEA.

  • Deliver campaigns/ marketing programmes utilising ‘sound’ marketing thinking and marketing communication tools; which will include thought leadership, events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, awards & recognition, digital, print and PR.

  • Reviewing external marketing opportunities for strategic suitability including sponsorships, speaking engagements, editorial, advertising and directory listings

  • Encourage greater collaboration between the firm’s practice areas through cross-practice marketing initiatives and involvement in firm-wide industry groups.

  • Own and participate in a range of marketing projects driven through the wider marketing team

  • Working with the wider marketing team, put processes in place to support the practice in developing their CRM contact lists to promote better account penetration and marketing management

  • Work with external and in-house designers to produce brochureware and client communications

  • Manage budgets and responsibility for monitoring and reporting/ROI

  • Provide recruitment marketing support as needed




  • Be educated to degree level (or equivalent)

  • Have a postgraduate marketing qualification (preferred)

  • Intellectual capacity and curiosity required to understand how forensic accounting and financial analysis can be used to solve complex issues within a commercial and legal context.




  • Proven track record within the professional services sector, ideally consulting or law

  • Non-essential, but experience within forensic, financial or economic consulting would be advantageous

  • Possess excellent marketing planning and delivery capabilities

  • An understanding of multi-channel marketing and experience of delivering compelling content tailored for the channel and audience

  • Be able to work effectively and confidently with multiple senior stakeholders within a complex structure

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, competing demands and stakeholders

  • Be an excellent influencer and communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Be able to work independently and to develop ideas and projects without supervision, as well as being effective as part of a team

  • Have experience of managing a marketing budget

  • Have experience of using CRM software and online mailing systems
