About the programme
Deal Advisory is a fast paced area of our Advisory business. Continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle, our specialists guide them through the process - from the initial concept of buying a business to turning their business around in times of difficulty.
Our wealth of experience across the deal cycle gives us access to what's happening in the heart of key sectors, and enables you to learn from our very best.
Combining structured training, work experience and on-the-job coaching, this three-year programme is a great foundation to your career - giving you a broad commercial awareness of the challenges a business faces across the deal and economic cycle.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Initially joining Corporate Finance, Restructuring or Transaction Services, during the three years you'll have the opportunity to experience a minimum of six months’ work in a different area of the business, dependant on the service lines available within the office you join. Tailored to you, it will provide you with a broader commercial understanding and the opportunity to expand your network.
Qualifications you'll work for
In addition to your role responsibilities we will support you to gain the Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Qualification (ACA) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) in Scotland.
KPMG also has a large full-time Professional Qualification Training team – dedicated to giving you the best chance of passing your exams first time. KPMG's programmes are underpinned by an online portal so you can access technical content and learning activities, share information and contact your tutors for all the support you need at the click of a button.

Our Requirements:
As a general rule, you'll be expected to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum grade B GCSE* Maths
- Minimum grade B GCSE* English Language
- Minimum of 320 UCAS Tariff points*
- Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline.

Please note, that we only consider a candidate's 'top' 3 A-level grades and do not accept General Studies.
However, it's not just your academic performance we are interested in, we will assess your application by combining a number of different factors including work experience and how you perform in our recruitment process.
