Job Description:
Develops code to meet the needs of specific customer projects. Working from customer requirements, they will create the deliverables and associated documentation to fulfill those requirements. Using a pre-defined toolset or inventing their own toolsets, they will create and unit test high-quality code that is delivered to enable the completion of customer projects. They will follow standardized development and delivery processes and will troubleshoot issues that arise during the course of a project or as post implementation support. Direct customer interface is fairly frequent and often done remotely. Site visits occur on an ad-hoc basis and would be part of a normal project cycle or as a result of an extra-project need.

Preferred Skills: Multi-lingual preferred, but not required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Related industry experience in system development and implementation
  • Extensive hands on experience with C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Foundation technologies, Windows Server 2003/2008 administration and configuration, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX administration and
  • Experience/knowledge of P&C Insurance software applications
  • Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software
  • Experience with .Net Solutions and SQL and relational database design
  • Experience with XML and XSL
  • Experience with systems integration (Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, third-party systems)
