Administrator EH&B (Client Servicing Team)

This vacancy is for a dual role administrator in our pension and risk teams based in our Glasgow office. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Administration and analytical support to consultants and clients, in respect of contract based pension schemes (GPP and GSHP) and group risk schemes, to ensure the retention and development of EH&B clients
  • Quality support to clients, who are made up of companies, trustees and participating employees, with regard to the transactional elements of their scheme/portfolio, in line with the Mercer Code of Professional Conduct
  • Identification and development of new clients and renewal of allocated clients Assistance in the retention and development of existing clients,
  • Accurate completion and maintenance of Mercer and client databases
  • Continuous personal professional development in the area of both technical and behavioural competence to appropriate level
  • Demonstration of technical competency through completion of appropriate industry exams
  • Maintenance of EH&B analytical tools and production of output for clients and consultant
  • Liaison with group pension and group risk insurers to ensure delivery of data, renewal terms and quotations in appropriate timescales
  •  Provide assistance with preparation of Client Governance and Stewardship Report
  • Provide transactional administration services to clients and members
  • Complete market reviews in line with consultants requirements, collation and output of results in appropriate format
  • Attending client meetings as required
  • Ownership of delivery to assigned clients through planning and monitoring of all activity (portfolio planning)
  • Achievement of financial / chargeable hours target

Qualifications Skills and experience required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work on own and as a team player, establishing good rapport with clients and colleague
  • Excellent time management and planning/organisational skills, ability to work to deadlines
  • Related business experience and technical knowledge to appropriate level
  • Current pension and risk legislation knowledge essential
  • Evidence of continued personal professional development
