Capco are looking for management consultants with a proven record of successfully delivering new client programmes or rescuing existing programmes across technology, business change and service transformation within Capital Markets (e.g. Investment Banking Operations change, OTC Derivatives and Clearing, Risk and Regulatory change).
Key Responsibilities
Risk consultants will need Subject matter expertise in some of the following areas:
- Collateral management, optimisation, and transformation
- Securities Financing
- Corporate treasury policies and strategy
- Liquidity and funding risks
- Retail Banking Treasury
- Custodians and their role in the future of Collateral Management and Liquidity Management
- Custodians and their role with sell side institutions more broadly
- Direct experience with clearing houses
- Knowledge of clearing and capital related service offerings such as cross product margining and collateral transformation
The role will be dependent on experience but at all levels responsibilities will include traditional consulting activities:
Solutioning and shaping
- To engage with clients to shape solutions to their business and operating models
- To bring clients fresh and relevant ideas, offering innovative solutions
- To engage with clients to shape their initiatives, build consensus and mobilise for change
Project delivery
- To deliver specific projects on client site individually and as part of Capco and client teams
- To engage with clients to deliver practical solutions
- Programme and project management, budget management and client billing
Practice development
- Proposition and solution development
- Training for not only FRC but also the broader Capco team
Origination and marketing
- Client proposal development and sales support
- Client presentations
- Contribution to points of view, white papers and other thought leadership
Experience
- Strong / numerate degree 2:1 or above
- Previous experience within a financial institution, soft ware vendor or consultancy
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management and delivery excellence
Additional Requirements
- 100% travel to client site may be required
