BDO’s Bristol GO department has a number of contracts to provide services to market leading property managers and has dedicated teams to service these clients. The work will involve dealing with a large number of entities and we require a qualified Manager to help us manage the projects.

The Manager will work as part of a dedicated team and take responsibility for running the client, working directly with the client.  The Manager will manage the dedicated team and project manage the process to ensure our independent reviews are of high quality and KPI’s are met.

 

  • Manage a service charge client, which includes determining the resource requirements, monitoring progress against KPI’s, agreed project plans, budgets, review of work completed by team members and resolving all project issues prior to Partner and Director review.
  • Manage the overall dedicated team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Be a major point of contact for the client together with the Director / Partner.  This includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients.
  • Ensure that the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to.
  • Financial management of the client including control of billings and cash collections within the firms criteria and review of budgets.
  • Knowledge sharing within the team and facilitating research and development within the team.
  • Ensure client feedback is captured, addressed and effectively communicated to the GO team.
  • Build strong and sustainable relationships with the client, and take responsibility for delivering answers to clients. Being the principle point of contact throughout the year and develop a strong commercial understanding of the clients’ business.
  • Identify and recognise new project and business opportunities for GO, and inform the partner and client as appropriate. Acts as an ambassador of the firm, participates in marketing events, keeps abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers and suggests innovative products and services.
  • Develop and motivate our employees (includes ensuring job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines and ensuring appropriate objectives and development plans are in place for counselees)
  • Work as part of management team with other GO managers (e.g. resource planning, merit rate meetings and efficiency gains)

 

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified.
  • Previous experience of managing people
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of systems and controls

Desirable

  • Property sector experience
  • Large volume assignments
