Our Regulatory Advisory team offers you the opportunity to work with the most prominent firms in the Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Management, Asset Management and Insurance sectors providing regulatory advice. We are looking for market professionals who wish to be given the opportunity to develop their personal, technical and leadership skills within the environment of one of the largest providers of professional services in the world.


  • Demonstrate excellent regulatory knowledge.
  • Manage client engagements including quality and risk management considerations.
  • Show commercial awareness by actively identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Effectively manage work streams
  • Contribute to analysis of emerging regulatory issues
  • Contribute to the development of EY solutions and propositions.

Skills and experience:

  • Retail Banking or Wealth Management regulatory experience at the FSA, a Financial Services organisation or another Advisory firm.
  • FPC3 or QCF4 qualification is essential
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of FCA handbook including and one of the following:
    • Conduct of Business, SYSC, and DISP
    • Consumer Credit Regulation
    • MCOB & Mortgage Regulation
  • Strong academic background including a Bachelor's degree
  • Flexibility - can work away at short notice and can adjust to timeframes/activities changing
  • Can translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations
  • Analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess and decompose financial services industry processes utilising a risk and control focus
  • Experience with the design, development and implementation of internal controls for financial services business processes a plus
  • Effective project management and teamwork skills
  • CII Exams ( FPC / AFPC)
  • CISI Level 4
  • Prince 2
  • CeMAP
  • CeFA
