Mission :
In support of our fast-developing transnational project business, we are now recruiting a Project Commercial/Contract Manager within the Intelligent Systems team.
The Project Commercial/Contract Manager is accountable for systematically & efficiently managing sub-contract creation, execution & analysis for the purpose of maximizing financial & operational performance on projects & minimizing risks & liabilities; and supports Portfolio and Project Managers in managing commercial matters with clients
Responsibilities:
- Capable of chairing/leading supplier and/or customer meetings as required
- Assists the business in reviewing business documents & identifying, assessing & understanding the potential contractual risks & implications related to sub-contract proposals (for example: IPR, licensing , security, taxes, bankruptcy, sub-contracting, liquidated damages other liabilities)
- Runs competitive tenders for subcontracts
- Knowledgeable in the domain of business & international contracts law
- Working with legal counsel, drafts, formulates, reviews & supports negotiation of a full array of business agreements & documents such as sub-contracts (including NDAs, MoUs, Sub-contract Agreements etc), Purchase Orders & other legal documents
- negotiates directly with the suppliers’ legal departments or other staff
- monitors & controls procurements in conjunction with the Programs & Innovation office to ensure that all contractual obligations are met
- supports the portfolio and project managers in commercial claims or disputes arising from project undertakings.
- Extensive knowledge of DEFCONs

Entry Criteria:
- University degree or equivalent with specialism in commercial/contract management
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a similar role preferably gleaned in an international business environment (industry or project/service organisation)
- Knowledgeable in the domain of business & contracts law
Education level : 3 university years degree
Languages : English (Fluent)
