Sept 2015 Intake - Graduate Programme - UK&I Advisory - Advisory Consultant Programme - Performance Improvement - London

Advising companies on improving performance and risk management

What do we do?
Our goal is to deliver sustainable performance improvement for each of our clients by identifying, diagnosing and solving complex business problems. We help some of the world’s leading private and public sector organisations grow profitability, manage risk, reduce costs or transform their businesses. You’ll rotate and get experience across a vast range of clients and practice areas including customer management, finance, organisational change, strategy, supply chain and operations, and procurement and sales.

What kind of work will you be doing?
As one of our advisors, you’ll work on complex assignments, with a wide variety of clients, across a diverse range of industries. Working hands-on, you’ll develop key skills and deliver high-quality, focused services.

What are we looking for?
You’ll need to think of yourself as a consultant rather than a graduate. We look for people with commercial acumen who are inquisitive, analytical and ambitious. You’ll need to challenge us, act on your own initiative and demonstrate the potential to become a future business leader.

What training and development will you get?
We’ll give you the experience, coaching and exposure you need to succeed. After an induction course that develops your core consulting skills and outlines your on-going training, you’ll have the opportunity to establish a solid grounding in finance and business law through the CIMA Foundation course.

We work with clients looking at their most difficult problems, whether they are organisational or financial. We identify tangible solutions and help clients deliver these.

What do we look for in this role?
An interest in Advisory is a given, but we look for so much more than that. Different backgrounds and skills – but similar values. EY can offer a superb working environment, thanks to our commitment to flexibility, inclusiveness and development. There are a number of criteria we look for in our employees.

People who excel - We aren't only looking for high academic achievers. We also want you to demonstrate leadership through extra-curricular activities and community involvement.
People who are good at working in teams - We look for evidence that you are good at listening, learning, sharing, developing and working with others, including those who are different from you.
People with integrity - We want you to have a clear sense of personal and professional accountability and to show you are committed to doing the right thing.
People who demonstrate respect - We look for people who recognize the value of different backgrounds and points of view. By respecting these differences we enrich our perspectives, which helps us to build strong relationships and enhance the services we provide to our clients.
People with energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead - We want you to be passionate and excited about the opportunities at EY and what your future holds.

Entry requirements:
