Consulting firm Elix-IRR has strengthened its partner team with Brandon Bichler, who joins from Infosys Consulting. Bichler will be based in Elix-IRR’s London office, and focus on further building the firm’s Manufacturing practice.
Brandon Bichler has nearly 20 years of consulting and industry experience across the consumer products, manufacturing, resources and services sectors. After graduating from The University of Texas (Austin) he joined PwC (at the time still PricewaterhouseCoopers*), where he worked in the management consulting practice of the Big 4 firm, based in Dallas. Roughly four years later he left the firm to join Tyco Electronics, a European based electronic manufacturer. Based in Munich, he served as Head of the firm’s Supply Chain Operations & Information Systems department, and in that role contributed to several globalisation and process improvement initiatives.
In 2007 he re-joined the consulting industry, and was appointed a partner at Infosys Consulting in London, where he remained for more than 7,5 years. In his last role at the IT consulting firm he led the Manufacturing and Process Transformation practices. In recent years he has advised a wide range of clients, including Exxon-Mobil, BP, Procter & Gamble, Honda, SITA and ABB.
Per October 2014 Bichler has decided to move to counterpart Elix-IRR, a UK-origin consultancy that specialises in strategy-execution and the implementation of programmes. The firm was founded in 2009 by five former senior Accenture employees**, and has since grown rapidly to its current size of 60+ employees, across offices in 5 countries***. The consultancy, which was recently named ‘Best New Consultancy’ by the MCA and nominated for the Outsourcing Advisory of the Year Award, works for large clients in the banking sector (e.g. RBS, Citi, UBS, HSBC), as well as organisations in the retail, manufacturing, energy and telecom sectors. In his new role, Bichler will provide clients with end-to-end advisory services, from strategy formulation and operating model design through to the execution of complex change initiatives. His focus will be on the Manufacturing industry.
“We are delighted to announce that Brandon Bichler has joined our Partner team. Brandon is a recognised leader in business and IT transformation and brings a wealth of expertise that will complement our current team and further strengthen our Manufacturing practice,” comments Stephen Newton, Managing Partner of Elix-IRR.
With the addition of Bichler, the partner team of Elix-IRR consists of 10 executive partners:
* In September 2010 PricewaterhouseCoopers decided to shorten its name to PwC.
** Stephen Newton, Graham Busby, Andy Curtis, Mark Goodyear and Ian Ferguson. Stephen Newton and Graham Busby currently act as executive partners, while the latter three co-founders serve as non-executive partners.
*** London, Dublin, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Al-Khobar (Saudi Arabia).
