Accenture has, in collaboration with Salesforce.com, developed a mobile healthcare solution aimed at improving patient interactions and outcomes. To achieve this goal, the solution will enable physicians to access needed information anywhere and stay on top of developments in the industry, and to build better relationships with pharmaceutical companies.
Accenture Connected Physician Solution
Accenture’s recently released ‘Connected Physician Solution’, is the first solution of more to follow that will help the healthcare industry improve customer and patient outcomes through cloud, social and mobile technologies.
The solution, which is developed in collaboration with Salesforce.com, offers fully mobile capabilities across mobile phones and tablets, to provide physicians with efficient access to disease, treatment and product information. Information they can access anytime, anywhere and on any device. In addition, doctors will be able to stay up-to-date on the latest news, receive training through the solution, and collaborate with other doctors medically trained pharmaceutical experts in real time. For pharmaceutical companies, the solution will among others help them create communities and build closer relationships with physicians, resulting in a greater loyalty and brand awareness, and provide insights in their interests. Some of the key features
The Connected Physician Solution is a multi-channel desktop and mobile solution that builds on the Salesforce1 Platform, compatible with iPads and iPhones. The solution includes a video library with educational and training videos, provides on-demand product information, and push notifications of news articles tied to physician’s interests/area of expertise.
