By the 25th of August, the Dutchman Arthur Hoffman will be leading the digital branche of media concern Sanoma. The Finnish organization announced this yesterday. In the past Hoffman worked for many years at advisory firms Booz & Company and Arthur Andersen.
At the moment Arthur Hoffmann has been active for 10 years at the global online travelling agency Expedia. At this organization, he gives guidance to the international B2B business and he is also part of the global executive team. Before this, he worked for the Australian airways company Qantas. At Qantas, he was guiding the development of sales activities via the internet. Between 1995 and 2002 Hoffman was active in the advisory branche. First as a (senior) Project Manager at Booz & Company in Amsterdam (nowadays Strategy&) and subsequently as a senior advisor at Arthur Andersen in Australia.
At Sanoma Hoffman is responsible for the digital products and service of the Finnish media concern. Also he will play a crucial part in transforming Sanoma’s classical media-approach to a digital organization. Sanoma Digital was founded this year after a large-scale reorganization. This business unit has something close to 500 employees spread throughout Europe.
