Dorothy DeAngelis joins Navigant as Managing Director

Healthcare regulatory and compliance specialist Dorothy DeAngelis has joined Navigant in the US as a Managing Director in the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Disputes, Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations practice. In her new role she will provide clients with expertise in governmental compliance, business performance as well as expert witness testimony.

Dorothy DeAngelis started her career at the US-based Kaiser Permanente in 1990, working her way up to the role of Medicare Compliance Officer over her more than 8 years at the company. At Kaiser Permanente, her responsibilities included the design and implementation of 13 separate Medicare Compliance Programmes for health plans across the county. In 1998, she joined KPMG’s Advisory practice in the US as a Director, working predominantly in its Healthcare team. Between 2004 and 2008, DeAngelis worked for Huron Consulting Group as a Managing Director and in 2008 she moved to FTI Consulting. At FTI, she led the Managed Care and Pharmacy Benefit Manager consulting practice; a role she held for almost seven years before joining Navigant.

DeAngelis holds a BA in Psychology and Statistics from Baldwin Wallace University.

DeAngelis will be joining Navigant’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Disputes, Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations practice as a Managing Director. DeAngelis will leverage her more than 20 years’ experience in the managed care, and pharmacy expertise, to strength the firm’s range of services offered to healthcare clients.  In her new role, DeAngelis will support a range of healthcare clients address governmental compliance mandates as well as improve business performance.
