Protiviti has relocated its London office to The Shard, one of the City’s most iconic skyscrapers. The new 20,200 square foot location will also house Robert Half, Protiviti’s parent company, thereby bringing together the UK operations of these two businesses for the first-time in a co-located UK headquarters.

With over 70 offices in over 20 countries, Protiviti is one of the globe’s larger business consultancies. The firm, a wholly owned subsidiary of recruiting giant Robert Half, specialises in financial topics, including finance, governance, risk & compliance, internal audit and financial technology.

Over the past years the firm operated from the Grand Buildings, located at the Strand. On Monday this week, Protiviti formally moved into The Shard, an iconic skyscraper in London, when delivered back in 2012 heralded as Europe’s tallest building. The business consultancy joins Robert Half on the 10th floor of the new premise, building on the strategy to enhance the synergies between the two firms. “Protiviti and Robert Half have been providing consulting and recruitment solutions for our clients for some time, and working from one location will only foster our ability to offer a broad range of services, from staff augmentation to full-service consulting solutions,” comments Andrew Clinton, Head of Protiviti’s UK Operation.

The move in addition enables Protiviti to facilitate its growth plans. “Protiviti continues to see rapid growth within the UK,” says Clinton, adding “the move to The Shard fits the business’ desire to offer its clients and staff the highest quality in work environment, transport connections and access to a vibrant community of professionals within the London Bridge Quarter.”

As part of the relocation, Robert Half – a US-listed company with more than 340 offices worldwide – has consolidated its three London branches. Phil Sheridan, Managing Director of Robert Half UK, reflects on the move: “When considering a new London location, we wanted to bring together our staffing and consulting businesses to provide a full spectrum of services from one central location. From our new offices, we will continue to deliver recruitment services in finance and accounting, financial services, technology and administration. These offerings will be complemented with the solutions that Protiviti provides as an internal audit, risk and business consultancy.”

With Protiviti and Robert Half on board, The Shard is now close to 70% let. Other major companies housed in the building include Gallup, Tiffany & Co, Al Jazeera and Duff & Phelps.
