CGI North America joins partner ecosystem of Unit4

22 September 2015

CGI and ERP services firm Unit4 have agreed an alliance in North America. As part of the deal, CGI will provide systems integration services to customers implementing Unit4’s Business World Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.

In January this year Jose Duarte, CEO of Unit4, unveiled the firm had launched a global partner ecosystem with the aim of offering customers added value and choice, as well as extending the company’s sales and delivery capabilities. Since the announcement several consulting firms and IT providers across the globe have joined the partner network, including ConQuaestor (part of the Grant Thornton network) in the Netherlands and BearingPoint in the UK.

The latest firm to strike an agreement with Unit4 is CGI, the fifth largest information technology and business process services firm in the world. The deal allows CGI to expand its expertise in Unit4 products and solutions, including ERP-offering ‘Unit4 Business World’, and enables the tech firm to boost its penetration in the mid-markets segment. The initial focus of the partnership will be on public sector industries in Western Canada, with further roll-out in Canada/US dependent on progress realised.
