IFB National Conference
Every year, the Institute for Family Business (IFB) organises its IFB National Conference focuses entirely on family businesses. The event brings together family business owners (of both senior and next generation), managers, directors and senior management to learn from each other by sharing experiences and best practices. The event is made up of a combination of plenary speeches, case studies and workshops, as well as networking time.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The 14th IFB National Conference will focus on issues and opportunities surrounding innovation and entrepreneurship in family businesses. During the two-day event, attendees will study pioneering examples and explore different routes to success, while learning not only from experts from the academic and advisory field but also from other family businesses.
For consulting firms, the conference provides the ideal moment to showcase their thought leadership, to learn from best practices from other experts in the field, and to come into contact with family business owners as well as senior management. This year, professional services firms Smith & Williamson and KPMG signed up as sponsor of the Conference. In addition, Gary Deans, Head of Family Business for KPMG in the UK, will be among the speakers of the event.
