Consulting firm Altran is sponsoring the annual West of England Aerospace Forum Conference, taking place on 25 February in Weston-super-Mare. The event is expected to be attended by experts from the aerospace and defence industry that come to share information and knowledge. In addition to Altran, other consulting firms represented at the event are PwC and Deloitte.
The West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) is a membership trade association that supports the interests of the more than 600 small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in the aerospace and defence industry throughout the South West region of the UK. The WEAF does so, among others, by delivering national supply chain initiatives.
WEAF Annual Conference
On a yearly basis, the Forum organises its WEAF Annual Conference aimed at bringing together experts from the aerospace and defence industry to discuss key issues and challenges faced and share knowledge and best practices. The 2015 edition of the Conference will take place on 25 February 2015 at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare and focus around the “SMEs and the 21st century supply chain” theme.
Global high-tech engineering consulting firm Altran has committed to the event as sponsor and will also be present at the exhibition floor. “We are delighted to support this conference, which is a vital yearly forum for aerospace supply chain companies operating in the South West of England. Events of this kind encourage interesting and valuable dialogue about today’s industry, offering attendees the opportunity to meet new and existing contacts and hear from key thought leaders in the sector,” comments Denton Clutterbuck, Head of Aerospace & Defence at Altran UK.
