Mazars scores sponsorship renewal with Yorkshire County Cricket Club

Mazars has extended its principal sponsorship of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, the most successful club in England. Through the partnership, the firm is able to benefit from brand exposure, client engagement and prospect grooming.

With its current tally of County Championship titles standing at a record 33, the Yorkshire County Cricket Club is England’s most successful team in the sport’s history. The club, which dates back to 1863, is one of eighteen first-class county clubs across England and Wales, and has garnered considerable sponsorship from a host of regional players – with professional services firm Mazars acting as the Principal Partner since 2014.

During the period of Mazars’ sponsorship of the club, Yorkshire witnessed back-to-back County Championship successes in 2014 and 2015. The consulting firm meanwhile, with its more than 1700 employees and 140 partners, has throughout the partnership, shared in the success of the club with clients, reaching contacts and employees across the country through their partnership.

The success of the previous deal sees the firm extend its support the club until at least the end of 2018 – while retaining the option to extend the partnership for another year until the end of 2019. Through the continued commitment to the club the firm hopes to benefit from considerable brand awareness cross its core Small and Medium Enterprise market, along with accessing new mid-market clients, as the  firm is provided with a means of connecting with the Yorkshire business community at matches, while receiving broader exposure on field through the players’ match wear and training apparel.
