FTI Consulting adds Jonathan Tyler to London team

Global business advisory firm has bolstered its UK team with Jonathan Tyler, who joins from Climate-KIC, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. Tyler has been appointed a Managing Director in FTI’s Strategic Communications business unit, and will be based in London.

Over the last 20 years, Tyler has served in different advisory roles, with a focus on Investor Relations. According to FTI Consulting, Tyler has worked on many high profile IPOs in recent years and has advised listed corporates and private equity firms in M&A and restructuring transactions. He joins his new employer from Climate-KIC, the European Commission’s initiative in new technologies to combat climate change, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. He began his career as a ranked equity research analyst covering the chemical sector working at UBS, Bear Stearns and latterly, Goldman Sachs. Tyler holds a degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London and a Master’s Degree in Finance from London Business School.

At the consulting firm, Tyler will focus on building FTI Consulting’s investor relations and capital markets communications offerings for companies across Europe, actively coordinating with teams locally, and in the United States. “Jonathan’s strong skills in financial analysis combined with his experience in providing trusted counsel to global corporates, makes him the ideal leader for our investor relations service as we further strengthen our Financial Communications practice in the UK. We are delighted to have him join our team and look forward to working together to continue to enhance our communications offering to meet the changing needs of both investors and corporations,” says John Waples, Head of Strategic Communications in the UK.
