< color="#000000"> ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:  

< color="#000000"> Working closely with the HR Director, the Global L&D team and various stakeholders across the business, the Learning and Development Manager will have responsibility for proactively monitoring, developing, and implementing programs in line with the company’s overall strategic plan.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage existing internal programs and develop new initiatives as needs are identified
  • Working with the global L&D team to design, deliver and implement learning solutions which are applicable and relevant across the firm
  • Implement and manage Career Milestone development programmes, piloted in EMEA for the first time in 2016
  • Manage relationships with preferred external providers
  • Source, develop, and design solutions for learning needs
  • Act as the key interface to the business to ensure that delivery of programs is to a high standard
  • Identifying training and development needs across the firm through a systematic approach and regular consultation with key stakeholders as well as the HR Business Partners
  • Work with teams across EMEA to design and deliver training which fits their needs
  • Training needs analysis across each segment of FTI consulting
  • Development of early careers strategy of resourcing and development, working with the Talent Acquisition Director, the HR Director and the business segments
  • Responsible for day-to-day program management with the support of a coorindinator
    • Responding to employee queries regarding programs and courses available
    • Event planning and scheduling for learning and development sessions, from individual training through to larger events
    • Communication and advertisement of programmes
  • Coordinate programs alongside existing courses and training modules, to ensure a streamlined approach with minimal duplication
  • Review and advise on content and material produced by external providers
  • 30% role is facilitation and delivery of training courses
  • Communicate to the business about learning and development initiatives and programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience managing and delivering an integrated training function, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Effective project management experience including the development of new programs and training initiatives
  • Influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver internal communications and present at Learning and Development events
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize key products and processes
  • Subject matter expertise in learning and development
  • Professional and proactive approach
  • A strong leader and team player

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Generalist Human Resources experience in a professional services firm and/or CIPD qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards for learning and development frameworks in order to advise and make suggestions for improvements and new programs
  • Professional accreditation in relevant area (eg. Psychometric testing (Insights Discovery and DISC), Project Management)
