To determine the business data requirements, complete calculation specifications, produce process documentation and provide support to core Business systems.
Analysis and interpretation of scheme rules and actuarial instructions and the production of calculation specifications (including Benefit Spec if appropriate) as well as the production of test matrices and test cases.
Undertaking all aspects of the data load process including the identification and analysis of data queries, production of sample and final data risk reports, along with managing Project Plans and setting up the scheme profile.
Analysis and creation of operational processes and procedures based on the knowledge captured for new client installations and the analysis of the scheme/trust documentation and processes to enable the population of the relevant Knowledge Base/Portal. Production of policy documents including drafting, formatting, data extract and merge.
Undertaking all aspects of the data cleanse process including data analysis, data cleanse, data reconciliation and issue resolution as well as the co-ordination of member data exercises.
AST & OneView
Investigate and resolve routine data related production system requests and application issues. To support
the introduction of system and process efficiencies. To support the implementation as well as the ongoing support of OneView for Clients and the Customer Relations Centre by resolving technical issues and queries. To develop appropriate technical skills as required for implementation of new web services and systems.
Able to communicate effectively and contributes to developing standards and best practice. May perform the Project Manager role where one has not been allocated Completion of individual performance review meetings
To provide accurate and timely cost estimates for Project work where requested. Maintains accurate records to evidence the progress and profit of each project.
May have basic Supervisory responsibilities plus carry out a coaching and mentoring role for Analysts across the National Projects team.
Preferably educated to degree level, QPA or DPC part/qualified or studying for/qualified APMI
Experience within the Pensions Industry
Ability to take responsibility for the quality of their own work, using their initiative to achieve the required results
Experience and proficiency in working effectively in a team
Ability to prioritise work on multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
Proven track record of delivery to agreed quality and timescales or other relevant experience
