Our consulting practice is recruiting Salesforce/ experienced professionals to join the Deloitte Digital team at Senior Manager ? Director level to sell, shape and lead client-facing engagements.

We are looking for motivated business and technology consultants with a proven track record selling and leading teams in the following areas of expertise:

  • Cloud Software: Sales cloud, Service cloud, Marketing cloud
  • Front end developer: HTML, CSS, Web dev, Lightning
  • developer: Java, Apex
  • Design: BA, UX, creative
  • Marketing: Design, application, execution
  • Analytics: Wave visualisation and ETL


You will have responsibility for:

  • Carrying a sales and delivery target of £1-£2M per year
  • Leading an area of industry specialism, using a proven track record in the industry
  • Client Management:  Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
  • Delivery:  Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies.  Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
  • Business Development:  Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
  • People Development:   Perform role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices; have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Proven track record of originated or personally led sales, and continued achievement against targets
  • Excellence in one or more industry areas, known for innovation in your industry
  • Experience in onsite functional or technical roles on at least four full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations
  • Extensive consulting and/or CRM implementation experience
  • Experience managing at least four large-scale full-life cycle implementations of CRM solutions, including ownership of the technical solution, management of the overall team and ownership and management of project financials
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Experience carrying a business development quota for consulting work, ramping up pursuit teams and leading business development pursuits end-to-end
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture and knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem such as CPQ and Order Management solutions
  • Experience delivering projects using agile Scrum based methodology
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to travel to client sites 60-80% of the time
  • Strong academic record, preferably in a numerate subject such as Computer Science, Technology or Engineering

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • An advanced Salesforce certification -  Sales / Service cloud, Advanced Developer
  • Experience implementing CPQ technologies (Big Machines, Apttus, Cameleon)
