Advisory Programme Director
Leadership, Talent, E-A Transition and Performance Management (Maternity Cover)
The purpose of this role is to be accountable for the delivery of best in class ‘Cornerstone’ programmes across Advisory for the relevant area. Using the base programmes and delivery expertise a single set of programmes will need to be deployed to Advisory to build essential skills and meet functional needs. All programmes will need to be regularly assessed to ensure they are meeting requirements and the design is blended both in terms of optimum use of technology and on the job learning and application.
Work with the Leadership Manager and HR to complete an Advisory training needs analysis for leadership.
Effectively design and implement relevant development interventions using the 70:20:10 approach across Advisory that maximise common requirements and meet specific functional needs, including liaison as appropriate with key stakeholders. (e.g. Coaches)
Implement and review the Advisory Top Talent Leadership Programme, working closely with HR Business Partners and the Central L&D team.
Programme facilitation - Programme Directors may provide facilitation assistance and delivery to other Programme Directors and Managers as required.
Provide learning design input into the programmes including liaison with Global contacts to establish relevance of content, ensure duplication is minimised and Global best practice is applied.
In consultation with the Learning Partners and Advisory Learning Design Lead plan programme delivery to meet annual needs.
Be accountable for the sourcing and management of a resource pool for delivery of the programmes, ensuring consistent processes are adopted.
Establish and monitor benchmarks for delivery standards.
Be accountable for the review and enhancement of programme effectiveness to ensure business objectives are being met.
Be accountable for financial management of the individual and portfolio of programmes within budgetary constraints
Coach, develop and manage C grade role-holders.
Be responsible for the development of strategy and the moulding of programmes to business needs.
Location: London with travel across the UK.
Reporting to: Director, Advisory Learning Hours: Full time but part-time or job-share applicants are welcomed
Experience and Background
A strong track record in project management of learning programmes and managing a portfolio of programmes
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing cost effective learning programmes and identifying learning needs
Strong facilitation skills experience with Senior audience
Experience in programme evaluation
Experience in leveraging global programmes
In-depth experience in Advisory services
A strong network in Global and UK L&D communities
Experience of key stakeholder management
